Jia Song is a cross-border attorney dual-qualified in New York and Mainland China, advising clients at the intersection of data privacy, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, and international business. As the founder of Summit Law PLLC, Jia helps individuals and companies navigate complex legal and regulatory challenges that span jurisdictions. A central focus of Jia’s practice is data privacy and AI. She advises technology companies and founders on U.S. and cross-border data-compliance obligations, and on the governance, liability, and regulatory strategy of building and deploying AI — helping clients move quickly while staying defensible across the U.S., EU, and China. Jia has represented entrepreneurs, families, and corporations in high-stakes matters involving cross-border marriage and divorce, offshore trust and estate planning, and international corporate formation and compliance. Her experience spans both litigation and non-contentious advisory work, with a focus on U.S.–China transactions, intellectual property, and family wealth protection. Before founding Summit Law, Jia served as a judicial law clerk in China’s court system and practiced at leading Chinese law firms, building deep experience in complex commercial matters and dispute resolution. She also trained in the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court under the Hon. Margaret A. Chan, gaining first-hand insight into U.S. business litigation practice.
